Sometimes your local shared folders fail to display in a list of shared folders in EmbroideryConnect.
This can be caused by SMB1 being disabled on your computer. SMB is usually disabled by default on a new Windows 10 PC, or can be disabled after performing a Windows 10 update.
To enable SMB1 on computer:
- Open Control Panel.
- Click on Programs.
- Click on Turn Windows features on or off link.
- Expand the SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support option.
- Check the SMB 1.0/CIFS Client option.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Restart now button.
