How to turn on "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" in Windows 7?

The Problem:

WiFi USB configuration requires "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" feature from Windows OS. In Windows 10, this feature can be turned on in Widows feature list as indicated in the screenshot below:

However, in Windows 7, this feature is not listed in the Feature List.

The Solution:

It can be manually enabled via Windows registration editing. Please refer to a tech support article from Microsoft from the link below:
