An EmbroideryHub was not found on the local network when sending designs using [EC] - Embroidery Connect Device

Embroidery Machine :  Husqvarna Viking Designer Topaz 50

Antivirus :  Malwarebytes Premium 4.1.0

Issue :   “An EmbroideryHub was not found on the local network” 

Cause : Malwarebytes Premium 4.1.0 has Web Protection turned on. 

Solution :

If Web Protections is turned off, customer can successfully be able to send the design to the Hub and receive it at the customers embroidery machine. 

Steps : In the Malwarebytes Premium 4.1.0 Exclusion list, exclude the following

1. Wilcom folder - C:\Program Files\Wilcom

2. EmbroideryConnectHub.exe  -  C:\Program Files\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio_e4.5\BIN\EmbroideryConnectHub.exe

3. The IP address found by using Ctrl T within Embroidery Hub as shown below. Even with these entries the message “An EmbroideryHub was not found on the local network” generated.
