The risks of pirate software

In recent weeks Wilcom has become aware of new significant computer and embroidery file corruption issues with users operating illegally pirated and cracked Wilcom EmbroideryStudio software.
Cracked software, by its definition, is broken software sold by unreliable sources. Users of the cracked software have been reporting:
- Unrecoverable corruption of embroidery files
- The presence of virus and ransomware software
- Crashing of software and computer
Some cracked software sellers are holding buyers to ransom by demanding additional payment to restore the software’s capabilities.
DO NOT RISK YOUR BUSINESS and do not install, use or experiment with cracked software.
