Purchasing new, upgrades and add-ons of EmbroideryStudio perpetual licenses

Introduction

The Owner of a Wilcom account is the only user that can purchase new, upgrade and add elements to EmbroideryStudio perpetual licenses.

An EmbroideryStudio perpetual license is where you pay a one-time fee to use the software indefinitely. Other licenses are subscription licenses where you pay to access the software for a specific period of time.

Purchasing new EmbroideryStudio perpetual licenses

An Owner can only purchase one perpetual license of an EmbroideryStudio level at a time.

To purchase a new EmbroideryStudio perpetual license, the Owner must first unassign themselves from any existing perpetual license or reassign their license to another user (member) in the team

Upgrading existing EmbroideryStudio perpetual licenses

EmbroideryStudio perpetual licenses must be upgraded one at a time, as each licenselicen must be assigned to the Owner for upgrading.

Adding elements to EmbroideryStudio perpetual licenses

If an EmbroideryStudio perpetual license is assigned to the Owner, any purchased add-on Elements will automatically be added to that license. If purchasing a new perpetual license with Elements, the Elements will be added to the new license.
