Update your email address

Follow these steps to update your email address...
  1. Go to the Profile page from the Wilcom Account menu.
  2. Locate the Email field and click Change. You are required to verify your change of email.

  3. Enter your new email address. A confirmation email will be sent to your new email address.
  4. Open the email and click the verification link to confirm the update.
  5. Once verified, your email will be updated in the system.
  6. You may need to log in again using your new email address.
  7. If you don’t receive the verification email, check your spam folder or request a resend from your Profile settings.

Impact of changing address

The impact of changing your email address is as follows...
  1. Login credentials update: Your new email becomes your login ID for the Wilcom Account. You must use the updated email the next time you sign in.
  2. Verification required: You must verify the new email before the change takes effect. Until verification is completed, your old email remains active.
  3. Account notifications: All system notifications, billing updates, and support messages will be sent to the new email. Ensure the new email is accessible to avoid missing important updates.
  4. Subscription & billing: If your email is linked to billing information or invoices, updates will reflect automatically. Ensure your payment provider (if applicable) has the correct email.
  5. Organization visibility: If you are part of an organization, your updated email will reflect in the Users list. Owners and members may need to re-add or recognize you with the new email.
  6. Two-step verification: If two-step verification is enabled, you may need to reconfigure it with the new email for security purposes.
  7. Support & account recovery: Future account recovery requests – e.g. password reset – will be sent to the new email. If you lose access to the old email, ensure the new one is valid and accessible.
Note: Changing your email does not affect your existing licenses, app access, or user roles.
