Update your mobile number
Follow these steps to update your mobile phone...
To update your mobile number...
- Go to the Profile page from the Wilcom Account menu.
- Locate the Mobile phone field and click Change.
- Edit your mobile number. A verification code (OTP) will be sent to your new number.
- Enter the code to confirm the update.
Ripple effects
The impact of changing your mobile number is as follows...
Effect | Details |
Two-step verification | If two-step verification is enabled, you may need to reconfigure it with your new number. Future verification codes for login will be sent to the updated number. |
Account recovery | Your new mobile number will be used for password reset and security verification. If you lose access to your email, you can use your mobile number to recover your account. |
Notifications & alerts | Any SMS notifications related to account security, subscription updates, and billing alerts will now be sent to your new number. |
Organization records | If your number is visible in the Users list, it will automatically update for organization owners. |
Changing your mobile number does not affect your licenses, app access or assigned permissions.
