System time has been altered error (H0045) - Embroidery Studio Digital Edition

Security Error: 


In Wilcom EmbroideryStudio Digital Edition, error H0045 specifically refers to a HASP_TIME_ERR. This is a security feature of the Sentinel LDK license manager that triggers if it detects that the computer's clock has been moved backward or significantly altered to bypass license expiration.

METHOD 1 
 
  1. Open your Windows Date and Time Settings.
  2. Then make sure the Time zone is correct.  Please refer to my screenshot below.  
 

 
METHOD 2 
 
        1. Open the Control Panel.
        2. Click the "Date and Time" icon.
        3. Choose the "Internet Time" tab. (This will not be available if your PC is part of a domain. In that case, it will synchronize time with the domain controller. You can configure the controller to use Google Public NTP.)
        4. Click the "Change settings..." button.
        5. Check the box "Synchronize with an Internet time server".
        6. Next to "Server:", enter time.google.com.



METHOD 3

Open Windows.

Go to File Explorer. 

Set File Explorer to view Hidden Files. How to show any hidden folder, eg the ProgramData folder 


Navigate to C:\ProgramData\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel LDK\installed\36097

Delete the folder 36097

Restart the PC 
Launch ES Digital Edition
