How to add an exclusion to your Anti Virus / Protection Software

In order to add a Wilcom file, file type, folder, or a process that your Anti Virus / Protection Software has detected as malicious, you can stop your Anti Virus / Protection Software from alerting you or blocking the program by adding the file or folder to the exclusions list. 

 

Please Note : Your Anti Virus / Protection Software will have different settings on how to add Exclusions

The Wilcom Folder to add to your Anti Virus / Protection Software exclusion list are listed below:


For ES 2026/ES 2025/ES DE/ES DE HL - C:\Program Files\Wilcom  and C:\ProgramData\Wilcom 

For x64bit Embroidery Studio e4.2/e4.5/Digital Edition   - C:\Program Files\Wilcom   and   C:\ProgramData\Wilcom 

For x32bit Embroidery Studio e4  -  C:\Program Files (x86)\Wilcom
