WilcomWorkspace 4.3 - Release Notes
WilcomWorkspace 4.3 introduces new tools for working with multiple designs and finding designs by date. This release also improves design previews, Library settings and filters, design browsing, and Print Worksheets for designs with multiple colorways.
What’s new
WilcomWorkspace 4.3 introduces new capabilities that make it faster and easier to work with larger design collections.
Work with multiple designs at once
Select multiple designs in Library and perform common actions in a single workflow. Select the checkbox on each design you want to work with. The total number of selections is indicated at the top.
Using the available buttons in the top ribbon, you can now:
- Download multiple designs.
- Export multiple designs in one or more file formats.
- Print Worksheets for multiple designs.
- Capture images for multiple designs.
- Delete multiple designs to the Recycling Bin.
Bulk actions provide clear feedback on progress and completion. This makes it easier to manage larger design collections without repeating the same action for each design.
In the Recycling Bin, Library Owners can also restore or permanently delete multiple designs at once.
Find designs by date
Quickly find designs based on when they were created, uploaded or last modified.
New date range filters and sorting options make it easier to locate designs from a particular period.
Date filtering and sorting are available in both Library and the Recycling Bin.
Trueview render
Truesizer now supports both hi res (330dpi) (default) and Standard 100dpi Trueview render settings. Choose between the two from the droplist at the top of the window.
You will notice a difference in rendering quality according to the selected setting. And rendering time may be affected slightly.
What’s improved
This release also includes a number of improvements that make everyday work in Library and Truesizer easier.
View designs more clearly
Design previews in Library and Truesizer now use higher-resolution images, providing sharper detail when viewing and zooming into designs.
Find & apply filters more easily
Filter selection and search behavior has been improved to make working with multiple filters quicker and more predictable.
- Filter options remain consistently ordered after selections are made.
- Search text is automatically cleared after selecting an item.
- Multiple filters can be applied simultaneously.
Access & manage Library settings more easily
Library Owners can access settings for Customers, Decoration Areas, and Status directly from the filters. This makes it easier to find and modify while working in Library. The Manage customer link invokes the Customer Settings dialog which allows you to add customers, edit, delete, or deactivate customers in Library.
Unlike Customers, the Status and Decoration Areas links take you to the corresponding settings in Wilcom Account. For instance:
Clicking the 'Manage decoration areas' link takes you to the corresponding settings in Wilcom Account. This makes it much easier to update settings while working in Library.
View more designs at once
Library now displays more design thumbnails on each page by default. This makes it easier to browse larger design collections with less paging.
The default has increased from 24 to 60 designs per page, with options to display 60 or 120 designs.
Print Worksheets for more colorways
Print Worksheets have been improved for designs containing multiple colorways. You can now select more colorways for inclusion in the worksheet. Additional colorways are displayed across multiple pages.
The Summary page has also been improved with colorway headings. This makes it easier to identify the colorways included in the worksheet.
