The symptom:
- Drawing with a WACOM pen cannot always generate an object. Sometimes it can work, sometimes it cannot work. Mostly, it cannot work.
- Switch to Graphic Decoration, freehand drawing behaves normally as expected.
- It happened to Embroidery Studio Digital Edition, Embroidery Studio 2025 and Embroidery Studio e4.5

The solution: In Pen & Windows Ink, “Let me use my pen as a mouse when it’s available” must be ticked.
