Manage EmbroideryStudio licenses
Only owners can manage EmbroideryStudio licenses within Wilcom Account Management. By actively managing EmbroideryStudio licenses, owners ensure smooth operations and cost-effective usage within their organization.
To manage EmbroideryStudio licenses...
- Go to the Applications page from the Wilcom Account menu.
- Click an icon corresponding to an EmbroideryStudio level – Designing, Decorating, Editing, Lettering.
- View all EmbroideryStudio licenses available for the selected product level, listing these key details:
- License name: Unique name assigned to each license.
- Level: The specific EmbroideryStudio level – e.g. Designing, Editing, etc.
- License type: Whether the license is perpetual or subscription-based (monthly/annual).
- License number: Assigned unique identifier for each license.
- Version: Current software version, with update notifications if available.
- Elements: Add-on Elements included with the license. By default, subscription-based licenses include all Elements for the level.
- Status: Whether the license is active or otherwise.
- Assigned to: Indicates member to whom the license has been assigned.
- Click a license name – e.g. Designing #1 – for license details. You will be redirected to the License Details page.
- Owners can view or modify the following license details...
- Name: Owners can assign or change a name for each license to make it easy to identify. Name changes instantly update across all views in the system.
- Assigned to: Owners can assign or unassign licenses as needed.
- Version: If a license is using an outdated EmbroideryStudio version, a notification or visual alert will appear in the version field. Owners can use this information to remind members to update their software.
- CorelDRAW: CorelDRAW is integrated into EmbroideryStudio to enhance vector-based design capabilities. It allows users to create, edit, and convert vector artwork directly within EmbroideryStudio. This field shows the current CorelDRAW version and download link, if applicable.
- CorelDRAW product key: Indicates the CorelDRAW product key associated with the EmbroideryStudio license, if included.
Notes...
- Owners must stay updated on Wilcom’s version notifications to ensure the software remains current.
- Updates may require additional purchases if they are outside free update eligibility.
- Since one-time purchases do not have recurring billing, no renewal or cancellation is needed, but owners should manage license allocation effectively.
