Purchase EmbroideryStudio licenses

The owner of a Wilcom Account is the only user that can purchase, upgrade or add Elements to EmbroideryStudio licenses. 
  1. An EmbroideryStudio perpetual license grants ongoing access to a specific version without requiring recurring payments. Upgrades and support may require additional fees.
  2. Subscription licenses involve paying a recurring fee – monthly or annual – to access Wilcom software and receive updates, support, and cloud-based services.
An owner can only purchase one perpetual license of an EmbroideryStudio level at a time. Subscriptions can be bought in batches.

To purchase EmbroideryStudio licenses...

  1. Go to the My Apps page from the Wilcom Account menu and click the Buy link for EmbroideryStudio.

  1. Alternatively, go to the Applications page and click an icon corresponding to an EmbroideryStudio level – Designing, Decorating, Editing, Lettering.

  1. To purchase a new EmbroideryStudio perpetual license, the owner must first unassign themselves from any existing ES licenses.

  1. After clicking the Buy link, you will be redirected to the product page on the Wilcom website.

  1. From here, choose your preferred option – ‘Annual subscription’ or ‘One-time payment’.
    1. If the owner has no license assigned to themselves, they can buy a subscription or perpetual license.
    2. If the owner has a perpetual license assigned to themselves, they can’t buy a new license but can purchase add-on Elements or upgrade EmbroideryStudio if they have an older version. To buy a new license, they must unassign the current one.
    3. If the owner has a subscription assigned to themselves, they can only buy another subscription. To buy a perpetual license, they must unassign their subscription first.
  2. Click the purchase link and follow the relevant purchasing process. For annual subscriptions, you can set the quantity you wish to purchase on the Shopping Cart page.

  1. A confirmation email and invoice will be generated.

Notes...

  1. EmbroideryStudio perpetual licenses can only be upgraded one at a time as each license must be assigned to the owner for upgrading.
  2. If you choose a subscription plan, select the subscription type – Monthly or Annual.
  3. With the subscription plan, you can also choose the number of licenses needed.
  4. If an EmbroideryStudio perpetual license is assigned to the owner, any purchased add-on Elements will automatically be added to that license.
  5. If purchasing a new perpetual license with Elements, the Elements will be added to the new license.
