Transform designs
With WilcomWorkspace, it is easy to resize designs as well as rotate and flip them with a few simple design parameters.
Resize designs
You resize designs in WilcomWorkspace via the Edit tab of the toolbox. Use the Resize buttons to scale the design in 10% increments, up or down. Note the physical dimensions of the resized design in the Width and Height fields. These are editable. You can key in exact dimensions.
The scalability and stitching quality of a design depend on its original source – Native Design, Imported Outlines, Processed Stitches, or Imported Stitches. Only EMB designs contain the complete set of design information required for 100% perfect scaling and transformation.
Rotate designs
You can also rotate designs via the Edit tab. Use the Rotate buttons to rotate the design in 15° increments, right or left. Note the physical dimensions of resized design in the Width and Height fields. As the design is scaled, the stitch count changes to preserve current spacing and density.
Use the Redo and Undo buttons on the General toolbar to correct any mistakes you may make.
Flip designs
Fashion and textile designs often use copied and mirrored design elements. You can mirror designs via the Edit tab. Use the Flip buttons to flip the design in 15° increments, horizontally or vertically.
Again, use the Redo and Undo buttons to correct any mistakes you may make.
