This note explains how the Remove Artwork Background option works in the Design Image Concept web application. Developers often expect this setting to also affect TrueView outputs from EMB files, but it only applies to artwork input images.

1. The 'Remove Artwork Background' checkbox works only with artwork input files — e.g. uploaded images.
   
   
2. It does not apply when generating a TrueView from an EMB file.
3. If an EMB contains embedded artwork, that artwork will not appear in the TrueView output, regardless of whether the checkbox is enabled or disabled.

1. Enabled: Background is removed (artwork input only).
   
   
2. Disabled: Background is kept (artwork input only).
   
   
3. For EMB files: No effect. Embedded artwork is excluded from TrueView either way.
