Feature has expired H0041

For the issue, "Feature has expired (H0041)" when opening ES 2026, please follow the STEPS provided below. 

1. Open the Windows Task manager, locate Embroidery Studio 2026. Use this tool to end the task 
   
2. Open your internet browser  to open this link http://localhost:1947/_int_/checkin.html
3. Click Select File button  
   
4. Open the directory C:\ProgramData\Wilcom\EmbroideryStudio\EmbroideryStudio 2026\LicUpdates   
   


The ProgramData maybe hidden from your Windows file explorer setting.

5. Make sure the V2C file with filename cache.v2c is listed 
   
6. Select the cache.v2c 
   
7. 
   

 

      8. Click Apply File

       RESULT:  The license key with ID  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx was updated message will appear. 

        

       9. Right-click the EMBROIDERY STUDIO 2026 desktop icon run the EMBROIDERY STUDIO 2026 software as administrator. 

If applying the cache.v2c failed with the error message as specified below, download the latest HASP driver.

Follow the steps from here  https://help.wilcom.com/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-install-the-latest-hasp-driver  

Then repeat the procedure from STEP # 2.
