Manage storage
Wilcom Library includes 10 GB of cloud storage for embroidery designs and attachments. As your design collection grows, you can monitor storage usage, free up space when needed, or expand your available storage with 'Storage Add-ons'.
View storage usage
To view your organization's storage usage:
- Sign in to Wilcom Account.
- Open Library. Your current storage is indicated in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
The storage indicator shows:
- Storage currently used
- Total storage available
- Remaining free space
This helps you monitor capacity as your library grows.
Understand storage usage
Library storage includes:
- Embroidery design files
- Embroidery production (stitch) files
- Design attachments and supporting files
Library provides notifications as your organization approaches its storage limit. You may receive:
- In-app notifications
- Email notifications (Organization Owners)
These alerts give you time to free up space or purchase additional storage before reaching your storage limit.
Monitoring your storage helps prevent interruptions when uploading new designs or attachments.
Free up storage space
If you prefer not to expand your storage immediately, you can reclaim space by:
- Deleting designs that are no longer required
- Removing unnecessary attachments
- Permanently deleting items from the Recycling Bin
Regular maintenance helps keep your Library organized while making storage available for new designs.
Expand your storage
If your organization requires additional capacity, you can purchase Storage Add-ons. Each add-on provides 50 GB of Library storage. Multiple add-ons can be combined as your storage requirements grow. Storage is expanded automatically, allowing you to continue using your existing Library without interruption. Storage Add-ons are ideal for organizations that:
- Manage large design collections
- Import historical design libraries
- Store design attachments and supporting files
- Need additional capacity as Library adoption grows
An active Library subscription is required to purchase Storage Add-ons. You can do so in one of two ways:
- Go to the Applications > Library page in your Wilcom account and click Upgrade storage.
- You'll be taken to the Wilcom products page.
- Click View Add-ons. Here you can purchase additional 'seats' for your Library or additional storage.
Alternatively, go directly to the Library expansion page on the Wilcom website. Remember, an active Library subscription is required to purchase Storage Add-ons.
