Subscription expiry & data retention

The subscription expiry and data retention feature explains what happens when your Library subscription becomes inactive. It outlines how access to Library is affected and how long your data is retained before permanent deletion.

Access after subscription expiry

Library access depends on an active Base license.
  1. When the subscription is active, users can access and use Library normally.
  2. When the subscription is inactive or expired, access to Library is limited.
If the base license expires, user licenses have limited access. They cannot upload designs or modify them within Library. But they can do the following:
  1. Open designs in Truesizer.
  2. Download designs.
  3. Export designs to machine format.
  4. Preview designs.
  5. Print designs.
  6. Capture design bitmaps.
  7. Delete designs.

Understand the data retention period

After subscription expiry, Library data is retained for 90 days. During this period:
  1. Design data is preserved.
  2. Access remains unavailable.
  3. No changes can be made to designs.

The retention period starts once all licenses have expired. This allows time to restore access without losing data.

Restore access to Library

To regain access, renew the Library subscription (Base license). If renewed within the 90-day retention period:
  1. Access to Library is restored.
  2. All existing designs and data become available again.

Data deletion after retention period

If the subscription is not renewed within 90 days:
  1. Library data is permanently deleted.
  2. Previously stored designs cannot be recovered.
If a new subscription is started after this period:
  1. Library access is restored.
  2. The Library will be empty.
