View stitching sequence

The Stops tab displays the order in which thread colors are stitched. Reviewing the stitching sequence helps you verify color changes, stitch counts, and design elements before sending a design to production.

Info
Each stop represents a thread color used during embroidery. A stop may include one or more objects stitched in the same color.

Why review the stitching sequence?

Review the stitching sequence to:
  1. Confirm the order of thread colors.
  2. Check stitch counts for each color.
  3. Verify named design elements.
  4. Identify potential production issues before stitching.
  5. Confirm the information that will appear on the production worksheet.

View the stitching sequence

  1. Open the design in Truesizer.
  2. Select the Stops tab in the Design toolbox.
  3. Review the stitching sequence.
The Stops list displays:
Column
Details
Stop #
The order in which colors are stitched.
Color
The thread color for each stop.
Element
The object or section name, when available.
Stitches
The number of stitches for each stop.

Review design elements

  1. If the source EMB file contains named objects, the Element column displays those names.
  2. Named elements make it easier to identify individual parts of the design when reviewing production requirements.
  3. If a design was not saved with element names, this column will be blank.

View different colorways

  1. If a design contains multiple colorways, switch between them to review the stitching sequence for each colorway.

  2. The Stops list updates automatically to display the selected colorway.

Production worksheets

  1. The stitching sequence shown in the Stops tab is the same information used when generating production worksheets.

  2. Reviewing the sequence before printing helps ensure the correct thread colors and order are documented.

Remarks

  1. Reviewing the stitching sequence does not modify the design.
  2. Changing the selected colorway updates the displayed thread colors but does not alter the stitch order.
  3. Machine files may not include named design elements.
