Capture design bitmap

The Capture Design Bitmap feature allows you to create and download a bitmap image of a design stored in Wilcom Library. Bitmap previews are useful for sharing design visuals with customers, including designs in documentation, or referencing designs in production workflows without needing the original embroidery file.

Capture & download a bitmap

To create a bitmap image:
  1. Select a design in My Designs.
  2. Click the browse button below the design and select Capture Design Bitmap from the droplist. By default, the image downloads to your local Download folder.

Use bitmap images

Bitmap images can be used for:
  1. Customer approvals
  2. Email communication
  3. Documentation and reports
  4. Production reference
They provide a quick visual representation of the design without requiring embroidery software.

Bitmap limitations

Bitmap images are visual previews only and do not contain embroidery data.
  1. They cannot be used for stitching.
  2. They do not include editable design information.
  3. Image quality may vary depending on zoom or display settings.
Use the original design file or exported formats for production.
