EMB preview not showing in either Windows nor in Embroidery Studio 2025 software

ISSUE:  ES DE HL design Thumbnails does not work on Windows 11 (ARM-based)

STEPS:



Check for the “Program Files (Arm)” folder
  1. Open File Explorer.
  2. Navigate to your system drive (usually **C:**).
  3. Look for a folder called Program Files (Arm).
  4. If it doesn’t exist, create it manually:
    1. Right-click inside the C:\ drive → New > Folder → name it Program Files (Arm).

Uninstall the Wilcom Shell Extension

  1. Open Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features.
  2. Locate Wilcom Shell Extension, select it, and choose Uninstall.

Run a Repair of Wilcom ES 2025

  1. Once the Shell Extension has been removed, run your Wilcom ES 2025 installer. https://d22gwtm2zg7h7n.cloudfront.net/EmbroideryStudio2025/27.3.14.20075/EmbroideryStudio2025_27.3.14.20075_Setup.exe
  2. Choose the Repair option and allow it to complete.
  3. Restart your computer once the repair finishes.
