The Open in Truesizer command allows you to open a design from Wilcom Library directly in Truesizer for editing. This integration lets you modify designs using Truesizer tools and then save changes back to the Library so the updated design remains available to your team. While a design is open for editing, Library temporarily locks the design to prevent multiple users from editing it at the same time.
Open a design in Truesizer
To open a design in Truesizer:
- Select a design in My Designs.

- Click the browse button below the design and select Open in Truesizer from the droplist. The design opens in Truesizer where you can begin editing.

Edit designs
You can edit designs in Truesizer using tools such as:
- Resizing
- Rotating
- Flipping
- Modifying colorways
Locking
When a design is opened in Truesizer:
- It is temporarily locked.
- Other users can still view the design in Library.
- Other users cannot open the design for editing.
The lock is automatically released when the design is closed in Truesizer or the editing session ends.
Save changes to Library
After editing the design:
- Save the design from Truesizer.
- The updated design is saved back to the library.
The design record is updated so the latest version is available to all users.
Some design formats cannot be saved back to Library in their original format. When editing certain file types, Truesizer will prompt you to save the design as an .EMB file. This ensures compatibility with Library and allows full editing support.
