About Estimator pricing

Estimator can calculate production and digitizing costs in addition to estimated stitch counts. These costs are calculated using pricing information configured for your organization in Wilcom Account Management. Once configured, the same pricing is applied consistently to all estimates generated within your organization.

If pricing has not been configured, Estimator can still generate stitch estimates, but production and digitizing costs may not be available.

How pricing works

Estimator uses two types of pricing information:

1. Price tables: these define how production and digitizing costs are calculated.
2. Thread collections: these define the thread charts and thread costs used when estimating embroidery production.
   

Who can configure pricing?

1. Only Organization Account Owners can configure pricing and thread collections in Wilcom Account Management.
   
2. Estimator users can generate estimates using the organization's configured pricing, but they cannot modify these settings.

Price tables determine the production and digitizing costs included in an estimate. Account Owners can configure:

1. Embroidery pricing
2. Production pricing
3. Digitizing pricing

Thread collections

Thread collections define the thread charts and thread costs available when calculating embroidery production costs. Account Owners can:

1. Create thread collections.
2. View and manage existing thread collections.
3. Configure thread costs used during estimation.
