Delete & restore designs
The delete designs feature allows you to remove designs from Library. When a design is deleted, it is moved to the Recycling Bin. It can be restored within a limited time (30 days) before being permanently removed.
Permissions
Owners can:
- Manually delete files permanently.
- Bulk restore or bulk permanently delete.
Members can:
- Delete files which are moved to the Recycling Bin.
- Restore files one at a time from the Recycling Bin.
Delete designs
You can delete designs from the Library individually or as a batch.
To delete a single design...
- Select a design in My Designs.
- Click the more actions menu (3 dots) beneath the design and select Move to Recycling Bin from the droplist.
- Alternatively, use the associated button on the Information Panel toolbar.
A confirmation message appears. The design is removed from the main Library view and moved to the Recycling Bin.
To delete multiple designs...
- Select the checkbox on each design you want to delete.
- Select Move to Recycling Bin from the available actions.
A confirmation message appears. The design is removed from the main Library view and moved to the Recycling Bin.
Manage designs in the Recycling Bin
Designs in the Recycling Bin can be managed as follows:
- Go to Recycling Bin.
- Select the checkbox on each design you want to restore or delete. You can select one or more.
- If you are dealing with a single file, click the more actions menu (3 dots) beneath and select an option from the droplist – restore or delete permanently.
- Alternatively, select an option from the ribbon.
- If you have chosen to restore selected designs, the dialog will prompt you to confirm.
- Alternatively, use the Empty Recycling Bin button to delete all items.
- Use the Restore All Designs button to restore all items.
Designs remain in the Recycling Bin for 30 days, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted.
