ZSK TC machine format

includes needle addressing data ¥ Two options – ZSK1 and ZSK2 (see note) § TAP and MON files are written together – TAP is the machine file, MON the header file. £ Used with Transport Code Disks (see note)

Info
ZSK1 format is used with older ZSK machines, generally those older than 1991 which have no more than 7 needles. ZSK2 is for newer ZSK machines, those characterized by a single top thread trimmer. The trim is the most significant differentiating factor between the two types. If the ZSK machine accepts Transport Code Disks, then ZSK TC Machine Format must be used.

File compatibility

When exporting an EMB design, you can choose to save it in the current EMB format or an earlier version for compatibility with previous Wilcom software releases. Bear in mind:
  1. Not all embroidery file formats support the same design features.
  2. Saving to an earlier EMB version may omit features that are not supported by that version.
  3. When exporting a design, Truesizer converts unsupported features where possible. Depending on the selected format, some design information may be simplified or omitted.
  4. For best editing results, keep an original EMB copy of your design.
