View settings
The View toolbar lets you control how embroidery designs are displayed while working in Truesizer. You can change measurement units, display the design at actual size, zoom in or out, switch to full-screen mode, and use the grid and rulers to inspect design dimensions.
These settings affect only the display of the design. They do not modify the embroidery itself.
Measurement units
Truesizer supports both metric and imperial measurement units. To change the measurement units:
- Click the Measurement units list.
- Select Metric or Inch.
The selected units are used throughout the workspace, including the rulers and design dimensions.
Grid and rulers
The workspace displays rulers along the top and left edges, together with an alignment grid.
Use the grid and rulers to:
- Check the overall size of a design.
- Estimate the position of design elements.
- Align artwork visually.
- Confirm design dimensions.
The current design width and height are also shown in the Edit tab of the Design toolbox.
View the design at actual size
Click 1:1 to display the design at its actual stitched size.
This is useful for checking how large the finished embroidery will appear before production.
Zoom the design
Use the zoom controls to enlarge or reduce the design view.
You can:
- Click Zoom Out.
- Drag the Zoom slider.
- Click Zoom In.
- Enter a zoom percentage directly.
Zooming changes only the display size of the design. It does not resize the embroidery.
Full-screen mode
Click Full screen to maximise the workspace and hide browser interface elements.
- Use full-screen mode when reviewing design details or presenting embroidery designs.
- Click the button again or press Esc to return to the normal workspace.
Remarks
- Display settings affect only the current view.
- Changing measurement units does not change the design size.
- Zooming does not resize the embroidery.
- Use 1:1 to preview the actual stitched size.
