WilcomWorkspace provides a simple mechanism to assign threads from commercial or custom charts to your designs. Each chart includes a range of
thread colors together with code, brand and description. You can search for a
thread by code or description and
assign it to selected color blocks. You may also re-assign and re-color
multiple colorways.
To assign threads...
Open a design in Truesizer and select the Colorways tab. The current colorway is displayed.
Click View Thread Chart to open the threads panel.
Select a thread chart from the chart listing – e.g. ‘Isacord 40’. The complete thread list is displayed below.
Select a color slot in the current colorway – e.g. ‘Green’.
Choose a suitable thread from the selected chart:
Use the scroll bar to search for a corresponding thread color.
Alternatively, use the search field to search by name or code – e.g. ‘0506 – Yellow Bird’. The code is the unique ID of a thread color in a brand. The system searches for the closest match and displays it in the thread list.
Alternatively, if you know the thread code, type it directly into the color slot of the selected color. The selected thread is assigned to the current color slot and the design updated accordingly in the workspace.
