How to install EmbroideryStudio 2026

  1. Obtain the Software
    1. EmbroideryStudio 2026 can be purchased online at www.wilcom.com or via an authorized reseller. It is available as a one-time purchase or via subscription.
    2. The EmbroideryStudio 2026 installer download link is https://wilcom.com/embroiderystudio/download.   
  2. Prepare Your Computer 
    1. Ensure your computer meets the system requirements for the software. This includes a compatible version of Microsoft Windows 11 64-bit Edition (latest updates), enough RAM, and available storage. Reference: EmbroideryStudio 2026 System Requirements

    2. Close all open applications. 

      Alert
      Note: When you install the software, you will be prompted to reboot your PC to complete the installation. Make sure you save any files and close all applications beforehand. If you are installing on an operating system (OS) that is in a supported language, the installation process will run in that language. 

    3. If you are installing on a machine with antivirus software, it may help to temporarily disable it during installation to prevent any interference.

  4. Upgrade an existing installation

In every case, you will need to sign in or register a Wilcom User Account. Registration simply requires a username, an email address, and a password of your choosing. Registration is linked to your email account
 
4. Run the installation by double-clicking the installation file with filename EmbroideryStudio2026_Setup.exe.  Both trial version and full version use the same installation.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions. You will be prompted to choose:
  1. where the software will be installed on your PC (default location recommended)
  2. which components to install – i.e. additional languages. English is the default.
  3. which installed version you wish to merge user-defined settings with.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


           6. Upon successful installation of the software and any additional Windows files, the Installation Complete screen appears.
           7. Click Finish. The computer will reboot and the software can be used.
