System time has been altered error (H0045) - Embroidery Studio Digital Edition
Security Error:
In Wilcom EmbroideryStudio Digital Edition, error H0045 specifically refers to a HASP_TIME_ERR. This is a security feature of the Sentinel LDK license manager that triggers if it detects that the computer's clock has been moved backward or significantly altered to bypass license expiration.
METHOD 1
- Open your Windows Date and Time Settings.
- Then make sure the Time zone is correct. Please refer to my screenshot below.
METHOD 2
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click the "Date and Time" icon.
- Choose the "Internet Time" tab. (This will not be available if your PC is part of a domain. In that case, it will synchronize time with the domain controller. You can configure the controller to use Google Public NTP.)
- Click the "Change settings..." button.
- Check the box "Synchronize with an Internet time server".
- Next to "Server:", enter
time.google.com.
METHOD 3
Open Windows.
Go to File Explorer.
Set File Explorer to view Hidden Files. How to show any hidden folder, eg the ProgramData folder
Navigate to C:\ProgramData\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel LDK\installed\36097
Delete the folder 36097
Restart the PC
Launch ES Digital Edition
