Download & export files

Download & export files

Wilcom Library provides several ways to retrieve design files for use outside the library. You can download the original design file, export the design to a machine-ready stitch format, or generate supporting production materials such as worksheets or bitmap previews. These tools make it easy to prepare designs for embroidery production or share them with customers and team members.

Download a design file

To download the original design file:
  1. Select a design in My Designs.

  2. Click the browse button below the design and select Download ... from the droplist. By default, the file is downloaded in its original format to the local Download folder.

Export designs for production

You can export designs in the Library to supported machine formats for embroidery production. To create production-ready files:
  1. Select a design.

  2. Select 'Export Machine File' from the droplist.

  3. Choose the required machine format.
  4. Click Download to confirm the export.

Generate production outputs

Library allows you to create additional production materials. These outputs help support production workflows and communication. You can:
  1. Print a production worksheet containing design details for machine operators.

  1. Capture a design bitmap for use in approvals or documentation. By default, the 'Capture Design Bitmap' option downloads the image to your local Download folder.
