Account move overview

    Wilcom’s 'Account Move' feature allows owners to invite existing Wilcom users to join their organization. When accepted, the user’s licenses, subscriptions, and embroidery assets — i.e. estimates and associated price tables and thread collections — are transferred to the organization for central management.

    In Wilcom’s Account Management system, the terms 'Move', 'Transfer', and 'Merge' are used interchangeably to describe the process of combining a user's account into an organization.

    How it works

    For organization owners:

    1. Go to Users in your organization account and select Add user.
    2. Enter the details and email address of the person you want to invite.
    3. If the user has an existing Wilcom account, they'll receive an invite to join the organization email.
    4. Once the user accepts, you'll be notified to review and confirm the move.
    5. Upon confirmation, their user details, licenses and assets are moved under your organization.

    For existing users (invitees):

    1. You’ll receive an email invitation to move your account to an organization.
    2. Review what will be transferred and what will happen to your subscriptions.
    3. Accept or reject the move request.
    4. If accepted, your account becomes a member of the organization, and your apps, licenses, and assets are transferred.

    What gets transferred

    1. Account details — i.e. your name and contact information
    2. Active licenses and apps
    3. All estimates generated by the user, together with any associated price tables. See also Transferred assets & licenses.
    Info
    EmbroideryStudio and WilcomWorkspace subscriptions with licenses are set to expire at their renewal date.

    Limitations

    1. Only existing accounts with one user can be transferred to an organization account.
    2. Once an account has been transferred to an organization account, it cannot be reversed or transferred to another organization.
    3. Subscriptions will be canceled, and licenses will expire at renewal date and need to be replaced.
    4. A user account that moves to an organization account will become a member account which will mean the organization owner can only manage app settings such as thread collections and price table.
    5. EmbroideryStudio trials remain active after the move, but Truesizer trials end when the move is completed.
    6. Transferred CorelDRAW licenses already activated will remain accessible to the user who activated them. To reassign, contact CorelDRAW support.
