Accept invitation to move
This article provides guidance for Wilcom Account users invited to move their user account to an organization account. The purpose here is to walk invitees through the invitation process.
Prerequisites...
- You must own an existing Wilcom Account.
- You cannot be part of another organization or have multiple users in your account.
- You are the rightful owner of the account and have the legal authority to transfer your software licenses and assets to the Organization. You also agree to share your user account details with the Organization Owner.
- Remove any private assets you don’t want to share.
Procedure...
- Open the invitation email.

- Click Review Invitation. You will be prompted to log into your account if not already signed in.

- Click Sign In. You are invited to review the implications of your move...

- View the summary of licenses/assets to be transferred and make sure you are happy with the terms...
- Your Wilcom licenses will be transferred to Wilcom
- Any linked assets will also be transferred to Wilcom
- Your account will switch to 'Member' status, managed by Wilcom
- Wilcom will take over responsibility for future license payments
- Scroll down to accept the invitation...

- Click Accept Invitation to accept.

- Click Continue.

Next steps...
- Your account becomes a member of the organization.
- The owner will finalize the move and manage your licenses.
Critical note...
If you, the invitee, choose to buy an EmbroideryStudio license pending approval, you will be given the choice of:
- continuing with the purchase on the proviso that any products will be transferred to the organization owner once the move is accepted, or
- canceling the move altogether.
