Transferred assets & licenses
This article provides post-merge guidance for account owners.
Transferred licenses
All licenses are transferred to owner management. This includes:
- All EmbroideryStudio Digital Edition licenses and beyond – i.e. one-time payment and annual & monthly subscriptions.
- Truesizer and Estimator licenses.
- If licenses were assigned to the user pre-move, they will remain assigned but can be reassigned by the owner.
- CorelDRAW product keys will be transferred but if the license has been activated, CorelDRAW Support will need to be contacted to change user.
Transferred subscriptions
All subscriptions are cancelled post-move. This means:
- All
subscription licenses will expire on their renewal dates – information about
this is available on Application and Billing pages.

- If you run the cursor over the grey 'auto-renewal' icon, you will be reminded to purchase a new license.
- Click the icon to be taken to the Billing page to purchase a replacement.
- The Billing page will list merged licenses that need replacing or renewing.

- Both the owner and assigned user will receive email notification that subscription licenses will be expiring.
- The owner will need to purchase replacement licenses to enable continued access to
software for their users.
- A Buy button for replacement licenses is available on the Billing page. Please note replacement licenses will need to be assigned to the relevant user.
- CorelDRAW licenses associated with expired merged subscription licenses will not expire.
Transferred trial licenses
- If an invitee has an active EmbroideryStudio trial, this will continue to be available post move.
- Active
Truesizer trials will not be available post move.
Transferred thread collections & estimates
Management of all assets is transferred. This includes:
- Any custom thread collections created by the user.
- Any estimates generated by the user together with the associated price table.
- From now on, the organization owner is the only user that can add custom thread collections and edit the price table.
Note that even though there is only one price table per organization, if a user has created an estimate with a different price table, prior to moving accounts, this price table is transferred with the estimate. The link to the price table is from the calculator icon next to the Production price in the Estimate docker. This is the only place it can be accessed by all users, including the owner. To use the organization’s price table, the estimate would have to be recreated from scratch.
