Decoration area

The decoration area setting allows you to define and manage the locations where designs are applied to garments or products. These values are used across the Library to categorize designs and support filtering, helping users quickly locate designs based on placement. Decoration areas are shared across the organization and are managed centrally in Wilcom Account.

View & manage decoration areas

To manage decoration areas:
  1. Open Wilcom Account.
  2. Go to Library settings and select the Decoration Area tab. A list of available decoration areas is displayed.


Add or edit decoration areas

You can maintain the list of decoration areas as needed.
  1. Add a decoration area to define a new placement option.

  2. Edit a decoration area to update its name.

Changes are applied across the organization and become available when uploading or editing designs.

Disable decoration areas

You can disable decoration areas that are no longer in use.
  1. Disabled decoration areas remain associated with existing designs.
  2. They are no longer available for selection when creating or updating designs.

Use decoration areas in Library

Decoration areas are used to:
  1. Categorize designs during upload or editing.
  2. Filter designs in the Library.
  3. Support production workflows.
Selecting the correct decoration area helps improve organization and searchability.
