The design status setting allows you to define workflow stages used to track the progress of designs. Status values help teams manage design workflows, from initial request through approval and production. Design statuses are shared across the organization and are managed centrally in Wilcom Account.
View & manage design statuses
To manage design statuses:
- Open Wilcom Account.
- Go to Library settings and select the Design Status tab. A list of available status values is displayed.

Add or edit design statuses
You can maintain the list of status values to match your workflow.
- Add a status to define a new workflow stage.

- Click the color swatch to edit status color.

- Alternatively, edit an existing status to update its name and color.

Changes are applied across the organization and are available when uploading or updating designs.
Disable design statuses
You can disable status values that are no longer required.
- Disabled statuses remain associated with existing designs.
- They are no longer available for selection when creating or updating designs.
- They can be re-enabled by clicking the Enable link.
Use status in workflows
Design statuses are used to:
- Track the progress of designs.
- Organize designs by workflow stage.
- Filter designs in the Library.
